In this video, I'll take you on a tour of the vibrant Victor Hugo Market in Toulouse, where the rich flavours of the region come to life. As I wandered through the bustling aisles, I encountered an array of local seafood, each stall brimming with the freshest catches of the day, including two local fish, the 'Saint Pierre' and the 'Bar.' These fish were later served at the restaurant Ma Biche sur Le Toit, and I can tell you—they tasted absolutely fantastic.

The market also featured a remarkable variety of duck products, from the rich and creamy duck pâté (*foie gras de canard*) to flavourful duck sausage (*saucisse de canard*), spicy chorizo de canard, and the tender duck breast (*magret de canard*). After exploring the market, I couldn’t resist enjoying a delicious duck breast for lunch at the restaurant Au Bon Graillou, located just one level above the market. The French certainly know how to best cook their ducks!

Additionally, I saw fresh and roasted chicken (roti), impressive cured meats with butchers expertly slicing from a cow's leg, and even rabbit meat. Cheese lovers would be in heaven here, with a vast selection of local cheeses to choose from.
