Mapping Radiation At 30 Stations On The London Underground

Описание к видео Mapping Radiation At 30 Stations On The London Underground

I got sent a radiacode 103 pocket gamma spectrometer and in this video I talk about how it works and use it to detect radon gas on the London Underground. Radon is a radioactive gas that seeps out of the earth and accumulates in underground areas. The London Underground doesn’t have dangerous level of radon as it gets good airflow but the detector is sensitive enough that we can pick up a spectrum of even low levels of radon.
