Flow states/hypofrontality, are a state of 'optimal human performance'. This is when all distraction falls aside and you experience complete focus. Time dilates, you can react with super-human instincts and you perform at your very best. This is you at 100%.

In this video, I examine the nature of flow states to help us better understand and achieve them. For example: what is the difference between flow in creativity and in athletic performance (the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and medial prefrontal cortex is what!). What does heart rate variability and coherence have to do with flow (possibly lots) and how do special forces operatives stay calm under intense pressure?

This is part one of a two-part series, inspired by ultra instinct and the events of DBS. In part two, I'll be using the information in this video to examine the very best flow hacks! Stay tuned.
