Kinumpirma ng National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea ang nangyaring banggaan ng barko ng Pilipinas at China sa bahagi ng Escoda Shoal sa West Philippine Sea.

Sa mga larawang ibinahagi ng NTF-WPS, makikita na nagtamo ng matinding pinsala ang mga barko ng Pilipinas dahil sa insidente.
