Protein is a molecule which plays very important role in normal functioning of our bodies.
Protein is required mainly for muscle built up and synthesis of different hormones in our Body sowe need to intake this very important molecule on regular basis.
2 most important natural sources of protein from outside are eggs and red meat.1 egg provides 6 gram protein and 100 gram red meat provides 20 grams protein But there is a problem firstly some people don't like to eat either eggs or red meat and others can't afford to consume it on regular basis so we need to know about some good protein sources which are natural,light on pockets and available easily around us.
There are following 5 such things which when used Provide a real handsome amount of natural protein.
1=Peanuts
Peanuts known as moong phali in urdu are a very good source of protein.of all the nuts like almonds,walnuts,cashews these Peanuts provide highest amount of protein.A handful of peanuts provide 7 gram protein.but these should not be eaten in excess as these also contain a lot of calories.
2= Green peas
Easily available and not so costly and can be used in variety of ways.this is one of the rare vegetable which contains complete protein and that means protein in it contains all 9 essential amino acids which are needed by our body but are not produced inside us.
One cup of green peas contain 9 gram of complete protein.
3= Milk
Milk I also a very good source of protein and one glass of milk contains 10 gram protein.Along with protein milk also a very good source of vitamin D , Vitamin B12, Omega-3 fatty acids and CLA(conjugated Linoleic Acid).
Along with milk it's other products like cheese and curd also give good amount of protein when consumed.
4=Roasted channa
Famous among sports person ls as roasted chana are not a good source of protein providing 22 gram protein per 100 gram roasted chana but also provide good amount of fiber and both these not only help build muscles but also decrease appetite and help lose weight.
Roasting chana devoids it of antiNutrient and that makes protein absorption very improved.
Sattu which is prepared from powdered roasted chana provides both instant energy and protein.
5=Daal Mash
Of all the lentils daal mash is called red meat of poor man because it doesn't fall heavy on pockets but provides good amount of protein.Along with protein daal mash also provides magnesium,manganese and zinc which all have important task to perform.
There are 2 types of daal mash.Black and green.while green daal mash is easy to digest the black one can be made so adding either bay leaves or asafoetida in it.
