Cartersville Georgia | Best Pizza, Ice Cream, Burger and Breakfast in a Historic Train Depot Town

In our last video, we showed you the amazing Farmer’s Market in Cartersville, Georgia. Today, we’re still in Cartersville and this time, we’re going to look at some of the history, food, and beauty.

Before we got too far into the day we stopped to get breakfast at the Ross Diner. Not only was it good, but it was a little piece of history as well. Thank you Joan and Mandy for such great service.

After our delicious breakfast, we head over to the train station. It's not a place to catch a train for travel though. This historic train station is the tourist information center. Ask about the civil war era bullet hole.

This whole town is full of history. We walk around checking out shops and plaques all over town finding out more about it.

A unique stop is 4 Way Lunch. Here you can have their famous chili burger 'all the way' like we did. It's all made fresh daily so you know it's good. It was a pleasure getting served by Missy. Her family has been working here for over sixty years, so she knows a good burger.

And right next door is Coconuts, an ice cream stand worth the visit. The flavors were enticing for starters, but the ice cream was mixed well, smooth, and delicious.

Our next stop takes us to The Mule House, a wood fired pizza food truck owned by Nick. That's right, it's a food truck, and a good one. The pizza was delicious. Aaron did a great job making ours for us. And since it's a food truck, they can drive to different locations for different events. How great is that idea.

Our final stop takes us to The Urban Market Warehouse. Here is a great place to shop for unique gifts and furniture made by local artists. We also were able to get our hands on a peanut butter bacon cookie. If you’ve never tried one yourself, you should.
