Our 90mi offshore sail as beginners, heaving to for head injury - episode 21

Our most challenging passage yet - sailing 90miles from Hervey Bay to Lady Musgrave Island as beginner sailors with 3 months experience under our belt. We're putting our basic skills to the test as we embark on our 22hr overnight passage, hove to for the first time to deal with a head injury 70miles off shore. Josh hand steers for over 16hrs straight to keep us moving towards a place that's occupied our dreams for the 2 1/2 years we lived aboard our boat - working towards cruising fulltime. These are the trials and tribulations of sailing a small yacht offshore!
