Jessie's Fund: Carnival - an interactive music session

Summer is here and we're off to the carnival!! This is the latest in our series of 'lockdown sessions' videos for children with additional needs, designed to cater for the processing times of sensory learners with complex needs.

In this session we'll be basking in, and dancing along to, all the sights and sounds of the carnival parade, before relaxing on the beach and letting the sun and sea soothe and calm us.

You can join in however you like, but you might want to have a tub or box to drum on, and something to shake - rice or grains in a tupperware works well. You might also like to have a piece of fabric or a scarf, or possibly some bubblewrap or a foil blanket to use for sensory stimulation and massage. Alternatively you can just sit back and let the sounds wash over you.
