I stayed at the Ibis Hotel Antwerpen centrum in March 2023, whilst working in the city of Antwerp. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. I don't know how much the room cost as it was paid for by an employer, but this is a mid to budget hotel, with variable rates depending on demand. The hotel is excellently located for Antwerp city centre. It is a 10 minute walk from Antwerpen-Centraal railway station and a 10 minute walk from the Old town and Cathedral area. The shopping streets are just a 2 minute walk away.

The hotel is in good condition with decent facilities, reception is small, but the desk is constantly staffed, the bar is next to reception and next to that is the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast buffet was very decent, it had a range of hot and cold options with minor daily variations.

My room (312) was a standard Ibis hotel room, it had a nice view over the theatre square, which is adjacent to the hotel. The room was compact but a typical Ibis room with all of the required facilities including a double bed, open wardrobe, flat screen TV, desk, chair stool, mirror and air-conditioning.

The bathroom was compact but had everything that i needed, sink, toilet and a shower cubicle.

All in all this is a decent budget hotel in the centre of Antwerp, the facilities are perfectly adequate and the location is excellent. I would definitely stay here again in future.
