After rebuilding the Overdrive and Gearbox, a rhyme clunking developed, which was eventually identified. Box now runs smoothly and is very quiet. BTW, a 1/4" ball bearing in the operating valve does not release pressure, hanging up the OD in the engaged position. A proper 5/16" ball works as it should.
