Have you tried this NEW 2-BALL DRILL? | Full 1-on-1 Private Soccer/Football Session

Working with a 17-year old midfielder in this 1-on-1 soccer training session.

Starting out with warming up on a new, 2-ball technical drill (1 millions plays on Instagram!). This technical drill is being used to wake up the legs and touches on the ball. You can of course use your feet and fizz it in to test the first touch at a further distance. But we wanted to start out close and then expand.

We then expand the drill to a directional first touch and ball control skills. You can be creative here of course. But this is the time to test that first touch by playing a quick paced ball into the feet.

Next, we continue to work on the directional touch by starting out with controlled juggles, hitting it high, checking your shoulder and making a directional touch once the ball hits the ground. Good application for controlling the ball out of the air and turning away from pressure and hitting a through pass to the forward. Great midfielder drill.

After that we continue to work on the directional touch by hitting 1-touch passes, turning, and making a directional touch with a finish on goal. Working the directional touch on the inside and outside part of the foot. As well as touching across your body fo the first touch.

Finally, we finish with 1-touch and 2-touch passing, turning and finishing on goal. I call this the Triangle Drill. 1-touch passes in-between the 3 cones, dribble to the back cone, play a give-and-go and finish in the corner!
