In this video I bring you the whole of John 1 in Spanish, read out by me (native Castilian accent).

This listening and speaking practice will help you improve your Spanish fluency, pronunciation, intonation, confidence with the language, and understanding of spoken Spanish.

This Bible video will help you improve your overall Spanish, not just Bible Spanish.

As I read out the Spanish verses, say them out loud along with me. At first you won’t be able to keep up with me, but you’ll soon notice your improvement. Also, notice my pronunciation and try to spot mistakes you’re currently making.

This video will help you with intonation, with the way I link words, and with the overall musicality of Spanish. Remember, the better your intonation is, the better others will understand you.

If you have any questions about the issue raised in this video, or about any of the Spanish words and expressions in the Spanish verses, please post them in the comments. I’ll reply to you promptly.

If at any point you need more time to say a verse, pause the video. And don’t forget to come back to this video from time to time. Each practice session is going to make a big difference to your Spanish fluency.

The Spanish verses featured in this video are from my translation of the Gospel of John. Copyright © Maria Fernandez, 2024
