No time like the present to try out a new way of building footings for a my up-and-coming sawmill shed. I've never been one to shy away from looking for alternative ideas when things get tough and today is no exception. I'm digging down below the frost line on today's video with my trusty mini excavator where I hope to carefully position 600lb concrete footings with the precision of a surgeon. My goal is to position the footings to accept 16 foot posts on top. Let's hope things go well as I don't have a backup plan if they don't.
