Der Wohn- und Kaufpark "A l t e r l a a" ist eine der größten Wohnanlagen Österreichs und bildet eine "Stadt in der Stadt" Wien mit vollständiger Infrastruktur. Die Anlage gilt als Vorzeigeprojekt der Gemeinde Wien (eine Satellitenstadt der 1970er Jahre).
Auf 240.000 m² befinden sich ca. 3.200 Wohnungen (ca. 70-80 m² groß) und dzt.ca. 9000 Personen; ein Einkaufszentrum, Ärztezentren, Schulen, Kindergärten, Spielplätze, Tennisplätze, große Grünflächen, ca. 3400 Parkplätze.
Planung stammt von der Arbeitsgemeinschaft "Harry Glück & Partner". Bis in den 12. Stock haben die Terrassen Pflanzen-Tröge (ca. 4 m²). Ab 13. Stock hat jede Wohnung eine Terrasse. Die drei 400 Meter langen Wohnblöcke sind Nord-Süd-ausgerichtet und haben 23 und 27 Stockwerke.(Sind 73 Meter und 85 Meter hoch). Die Grünfläche hat 123.000 m², misst also knapp 2 Drittel des Gesamtareals; um den Wohnpark angelegt und "Harry-Glück-Park" benannt (nach dem Architekten). Das Dach ist mit Pool ausgestattet, von denen es im Wohnpark insgesamt 7 gibt.
Im Bauch der nach oben hin schmäler werdenden Gebäude befinden sich 7 Hallenbäder, Solarien und Klubräume.
Die Hausverwaltung braucht 50 Mitarbeiter, mit eigenen Haustechnikern; die Anlage hat Notstromversorgung.
Direkte Autobahnanbindung und eigene U-Bahn Station (U 6).-

The residentialpark and Shopping Center "Alterlaa" is one of the largest residential complexes in Austria and forms a "city in the city" of Vienna with a complete infrastructure. This Center is considered as a showcase project of the municipality of Vienna (a satellite city of the 1970s). On 240,000 m² there are about 3,200 apartments (about 70-80 m² in size) and it is for nearly 10 000 persons; a shopping center, medical centers, schools, Childrens play schools, playgrounds, tennis courts, large green areas, about 3400 parking spaces. Planning comes from the working group "Harry Glück & Partner" . Up to the 12th floor the terraces have plant troughs (about 4 m²). From the 13th floor each apartment has a terrace. The three 400-meter-long apartment blocks are north-south-facing and have 23 and 27 floors (73 meters and 85 meters high).The green area has 123,000 m², so it measures just under two thirds of the total area; created around the residential park and named "Harry Glück" Park (after the architect). The roof is equipped with pool, of which there are a total of 7 in the residential park. In the belly of the building, which narrows at the top, there are seven indoor pools, solariums and club rooms.The property management needs 50 employees, with own house technicians; these 6 buildings have emergency power supply. Direct motorway connection and own Underground station (U 6) .-
