In this virtual driving tour, we will explore the northen side of the city, starting from the North Bull Island, heading south towards the city centre.

The atmosphere is relaxed, dusk lights and a chilled breeze from the bay.

The North Bull Island is a long dune covered sand spit in Dublin Bay, about 5 km long and 800m wide, lying roughly parallel to the shore off Clontarf, Raheny, Kilbarrack, and facing Sutton.
The Bull Island is a National Nature reserve and a paradise for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts, and a good place for walking.
It offers a wide view over the bay, with plenty of space to relax, run and enjoy a fresh sea breeze.
Bull Island was created 200 years ago due to the construction of the north bull wall to Dublin Port. It continues to grow seaward and is a rare natural occurrence in Ireland.

The drive starts along Causeway Rd, that connects the island to the main land.

After a left turn, the drive continues along the james Larkin Rd soutbound, passing by Saint Anne's Park, across Clontarf.

We continue along Clontarf Rd R807 then a left turn brings us along the Fairview Rd, passing by the Fairview Park, lcoated in Marino.

Keeping the left, we continue southbound along Annesley Bridge Rd (R105), continuing along N Strand Rd reaching Newcomen Bridge.

A sharp left turn and we enter the Seville Pl, passing underneath the Conolly Railway station tracks and reaching the Guild St.

We are now entering the Docklands, a vibrant modern side of the city. Here we reach the Samuel Beckett Bridge across River Liffey.

The last section of our virtual tour drive runs along Macken St and grand Canal St, located just between Docklands and Grand Canal Dock.

The city centre is a small busy place with dozens of cafè, restaurants and clubs with live music and lots of people although during the current level 5 restrictions this is not the case (yet).
