The Quick Search portlet allows you to perform both general and specific searches for records and transactions, using very few search parameters. You can do this directly from your Home dashboard. It can function in a similar way to the Global Search, and that it also allows you the flexibility to set up default search criteria in order to better target the desired type of record results. In this short tutorial I'm going to demonstrate how to set up a Quick Search portlet, and that is going to be on you Home dashboard, and then perform both general and transactional searches.
