Today in LisinCult Resin Lab, I’m testing a heat-gun cell texture using holographic vinyl inside resin coasters — and comparing two styles in the same mold:

✅ Full Coverage vs ✅ Framed (centered vinyl)
Plus a key detail that changes the final look:
Convex vs Concave side + Vinyl opacity = bubble-look vs bold cells

Resin :Medium-viscosity epoxy resin 2:1
Black pigment paste (opaque black)
Mold 4-cavity square coaster mold (12 cm cavities)
Holographic vinyl sheets (at least one semi-transparent + one opaque type)
Heat gun (for cell texture)
Wooden board (under the vinyl while heating)
Isopropyl alcohol spray (light mist for bubbles
Torch/heat gun quick pass for surface bubbles (light)
Scissors
One cured coaster piece (template)
Printed cutting guide (Word) for the framed pieces
