This workshop is part of the Stronger Together festival of learning about co-production with Ageing Better.

During this workshop, Age Friendly Island share how they co-produced an age-friendly framework for GP surgeries.

Workshop description:

Age Friendly Island’s age friendly project started out by partnering up with a local GP surgery to look at creating a blueprint for age friendly GP practices that can meet the needs of older patients. They co-produced an age friendly framework with a local practice and their Patient Participation Group (PPG), to hear their views on what the practice was doing well for older people, and what could be improved.

They will share their short film and toolkit which has helped practices on the Isle of Wight and across the UK.

This session is for Community Leaders, Primary Care Workers and anyone interested in age friendly co-production.
