◇ 21st Amendment Act, 1967-

Added Sindhi as the 15th language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

◇ 22nd Amendment Act, 1969:- Created provisions for the formation of an autonomous state within Assam (for tribal areas).


◇ 23rd Amendment Act, 1969:-

Ended the reservation of seats for Scheduled Tribes in Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

◇ 24th Amendment Act, 1971:-


Affirmed Parliament’s power to amend any part of the Constitution, including Fundamental Rights

◇ 25th Amendment Act, 1971:-

Curtailed the right to property (Article 31).

Empowered the government to acquire or requisition property for public purposes without full market compensation.
