Alpine Canada Strive is a clearly defined framework of progression that really comes to life through the FREE Alpine Canada Strive mobile app. Using the app makes it easy for coaches, and skiers to progress through the program.

Here’s how to get started and make the most of it:

🛠 Getting Set Up
Download the STRIVE app and create your coach account.

Invite parents to register and add their skier—coaches cannot add athletes directly due to privacy policies.

New to STRIVE? Use the “Test Skier” feature to explore the app before working with real athletes.

👥 Managing Your Group
Navigate to the Skiers tab to manage your roster.

Click Manage to add or remove skiers.

If an athlete changes groups, unselect them so another coach can add them to their new group.

📈 Planning & Evaluating
Identify the right challenge level for each athlete—your group may include a mix of levels.

Use the Interactive Planning Sheet to design sessions. Filter drills by age, level, terrain, and discipline, and adapt variations to meet each skier’s needs.

Share your session plans with fellow coaches to build a consistent and evolving practice library.

🏅 Skill Framework
STRIVE features an 8-level skill pathway with clear benchmarks and instructional videos.

Evaluate athletes as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Pass, or Fail.

Upload videos and comments to provide feedback—visible to athletes and parents via the Scorecard and Activity Feed.

🎥 Sharing Feedback
Keep communication clear, respectful, and constructive.

Mute audio when filming to avoid unintended background comments.

Have content reviewed by a supervisor before sharing.

Use the “More” button under each video to view evaluation criteria and ensure consistent assessments.
