Crazy things tend to happen whenever we get together with Newcomer Racing on the engine dyno. And this video takes the cake! Originally, the plan was just to test this turbo setup with a ridiculous 11.8:1 compression ratio. But things got out of hand quickly. The Jeep 4.0 liter straight six is known as a reliable and torquey -- if low horsepower -- plodder. Engine builder Keith Newcomer shows these engines are capable of much more than anyone ever figured with his latest turbo build.
