The Vanille Kipferl (Moon Cookies) Recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour
2 sticks butter (softened)
1/2 cup ground or cut almonds
1/2 cup ground or cut pecans or hazelnuts
1/3 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
pinch of salt
2 TB vanilla extract
1 TB almond extract
1/2 - 1 cup powdered sugar

INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix together all ingredients except for the powdered sugar.
Cover the dough and let it rest in the fridge for 2h.
Form ~2in moon shapes.
Bake for 10min at 375F.
While still slightly warm, coat the cookies in powdered sugar.
Enjoy :)
