Today I wanted to share how I plan to move from sewing to fashion design, and how I plan to learn fashion design without a degree - and you can too! I have been sewing for about 5 years now and my dream has always been to learn to fashion design. Now that I have some sewing skills under my belt, I want to share my journey learning to design with you. Hopefully this video discussing my strategy for learning fashion design without a degree will help spark some ideas and provide some resources for other sewists who aspire to learn as well. And for anyone who currently designs (self-taught or degree), please feel free to share your favorite tips, tricks, and resources so we can help each other grow in this journey!
