Zara Tindall's son Lucas, 3, tugs on his mother's riding helmet as she's interviewed at the Badminton Horse Trials - and jokes: 'I'm sure my father will tell me what I did wrong'.

This is the adorable moment Lucas Tindall tugged on his mother Zara's riding helmet while she gave an interview at the Badminton Horse Trials yesterday. Zara's son, who is three, sat on her hip as she chatted to the presenter from the equestrian event in Gloucestershire.

The 42-year-old was joined by her two other children, Mia, 10, and Lena, five, who she shares with former rugby star Mike Tindall. But while Princess Anne's daughter was attempting to focus on the questions, her cheeky son - who donned a Spider-Man cap and a blue shirt - repeatedly pulled on her equestrian helmet.

He then lovingly wrapped his arm around Zara's neck as she tried to get him to stop yanking on the strap. When asked how her performance went, Zara said: 'It was good actually, I just had one down, disappointing, but he actually jumped mega because he did feel tired this morning, I think it's the first time ever.

'Yeah I probably should've let go earlier but I'm sure my father will tell me what I did wrong but it's so nice to be back in there.
'I just want to thank my owner and my team who did a mega job yesterday after a hard day's work and they've worked so hard and we couldn't have done it without any of them.'

Lucas was also pictured looking mischievous as he poked out his tongue while looking at his mother. Looking equally sweet, Mia and Lena sported light blue caps and summery outfits for a fun-filled family day out. Lena donned a cotton floral dress from Joules. The family appeared to be having mounds of fun during the action-packed day out - with the children seen with broad smiles on the grounds at Badminton House.

The horse trials are one of seven five-star equestrian events in the world. Five-star competitions see the best horses and riders in the sport compete against each other in three phases: dressage, cross-country and show jumping. Badminton Horse Trials was established in 1949 to prepare British riders for the Olympic Games. Queen Elizabeth II presented the Badminton trophy on the event's 50th anniversary in 1999, to five-time British Olympian Ian Stark.

This accolade is awarded to those who win three consecutive five-star competitions: the Badminton Horse Trials, the Kentucky Three-Day Event, and the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire. Zara Tindall competed with her horse Class Affair at the event in Gloucestershire. When asked what her favourite memory of Badminton was, Zara said: 'Gosh, probably when I wasn't riding, less stress.

'Probably yesterday was the biggest achievement. With him, the way he is, he's tricky and he made me work for it all the way and work all week and he's the hardest horse I've ever ridden.'  Elsewhere, Queen Camilla looked chic in a blue summer dress at day four of the Badminton Horse Trials on Sunday.

The Queen attended the final day of the event and presented trophies to prize winners to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the occasion. Zara Tindall has firmly established herself as a style icon within the royal sphere - and her fashion sense is still flourishing as she celebrates another birthday. Over the past year, the royal has displayed a series of flawless ensembles, featuring impeccably tailored coats, chic trouser suits and glamorous dresses.

Gone are the previously cluttered details and hastily assembled outfits, replaced instead by a meticulously curated wardrobe. On her 43rd birthday, we take a retrospective look at Zara's most impressive outfits to date.
Zara's penchant for colour was particularly evident when she attended the Easter Mattins service at Windsor Castle last year.

The royal picked a bright fuchsia dress by Jane Atelier, accessorised with a coveted Strathberry bag, Juliette Botterill hat and Emmy London heels. Her 'Payton' dress, with its figure-skimming silhouette and decorative buttons, was the perfect choice for the joyous occasion.

Moreover, the audacious hue accentuated her radiant complexion. The following month, Zara showcased her sartorial prowess at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. She selected a charming pastel blue ensemble, featuring a custom-made coat dress by Laura Green. Zara is a loyal customer of the British designer, having sported several pieces over the years.
