This is how I deal with mulm in my tank. Mulm is like the compost in our gardens. It is full of nutrients beneficial to the aquarium plants and that is why I don't vacuum it up. But what can I do when there is too much mulm? That is when I use Seachem Pristine, a bacteria cocktail which devours mulm.
