1953 Gibson Les Paul Model # 3 1329 | The Music Emporium

Singer, songwriter, and master guitar blaster Cody Nilsen came in recently and squeezed every ounce of tone out of this uncirculated one-owner '53 Les Paul Model.

This guitar was purchased from the son of its original owner. It was played sparingly before being cased up for decades. With the exception of a newly installed Music City Bridge trapeze wraparound tailpiece and an input jack plate, this '53 LP is all there folks!

Cody is playing straight into a very clean 1963 Fender Vibroverb for all clean tones, and into a 1963 Gretsch 6157 1x10 combo with a Klemt NG51 Echolette tape echo out in front for those greasy, gained up tones (warning: the preamp section of the Echolette can create out-of-body experiences).
