This discussion was part of our John Wick Chapter 2 movie review but we thought it deserved its own video because movie stunt crews are responsible for making some of the best scenes in some of the best and entertaining movies of our times, and that's been going on for decades.

Unfortunately The Academy doesn't recognize stunts crews yet, and we hope this video inspires others to join in by letting The Academy know that stunts men and women deserve an Oscar category just as much as actors, directors, and movies do because without them the movies we're watching wouldn't be possible to make, and they make action happen.

Give stunt men and women the recognition they deserve.

Yes, stunts men and women have their own awards ceremony. It's called Taurus World Stunts Awards, and they recognize the work stunts crews do. However, those awards have only been around for 17 years and were started by Red Bell who is the main sponsor, but anyone can donate because the proceeds go to stunt people who really need it.

Because of the contribution stunts crews make to the movies today, we think The Academy needs to recognize their contributions as well because only good things can come of it.
