In this chapter we will study how Abram becomes involved in a Gentile War involving the 5 kings of Sodom, and the 4 kings of Babylon (Mesopotamia). When the Kings of Babylon conquere the cities of Sodom (there are 5 cities) they take Lot captive along with many people, the riches and spoils of these 5 cities. Abram goes into action with 318 of his men. They battled against the 4 Kings of Babylon, which to the carnal mind would clearly be an impossible feat, to even consider they had a chance of winning was preposterous, but God is in control and He is no match for any army of mankind as we shall see. After Abram's victory, he meets 2 kings in the Valley of Decision, where he had a choice to make, take the offer of the King of Salem (the King of Peace) or the King of Sodom. Let's find out what decision Abram made in the Valley of the Kings.
