This video was made to demonstrate some of the basic stances from Taekwondo as we teach them in our program. It covers Attention Stance, Bowing, Ready Stance for traditional training and Fighting Stance for Olympic training, Walking Stance, Forward or Front Stance, Back Stance, Horse Stance and Tiger Stance.

Please note that the walking stance shown here is very narrow compared to others and is only one way to do it. This is the method that was shown to us for traditional postures. We are in the process of reviewing this method and will be adjusting it accordingly at some point to be a wider stance about 1 shoulder width.

Make sure you check with your instructor before using this as a reference.
