All about this Session:
Jinal Shah a practicing optometrist and an expert with the Bynocs system begins by establishing a case history of a patient that she had examined. The notable finding was reduced vision in one eye and a positive 4 prism base test. The patient's diagnosis was microtropia and amblyopia in the left eye. She then dives into explaining what is amblyopia? And what are the common modes of treatment for the treatment of amblyopia?

We learn the common issues of the traditional treatment methods. Ms. Jinal Shah makes a strong point about the use of vision therapy as a form of treatment and shares ‘Bynocs’ evaluation.
Bynocs a novel vision therapy software primarily uses dichoptic viewing. We understand what is dichoptic viewing and how it can be used to provide effective Dichoptic Anti-suppression Therapy (DAT).

We learn the features of Bynocs and how it uses DAT to treat patients. We get a glimpse of how the Bynocs software uses gameplay to provide patients with therapy. We end with learning the treatment regime for the patient and the final outcomes. This was followed by an interesting Q and A session where we learn a lot more in detail of the Bynocs software and how it can be availed by practitioners for their patients.
