The Third leg of the upstream atainment to the rescue site was the last and the longest needed to gain access. From the start of the Training mission we needed to progress up river from the road by crossing over to river left by way of R2 Light weight Paddle Team ferry and portage 250ft of dry shore line boulders with the boat upstream around a class IV rápid to the UAV water line drop point an additional 500ft that would haul the boat Team up to the last leg. Gaining access to the rescue site would required another 350ft haul with our FPV.
During Flight Pilot @harley_hiles experienced loss of video and was forced to reléase the line.
As of our investigación the problem with return home was a goggle issue.
We selected a Team of 4 to work up river to access the river left shore and begin the search for the Drone which was found requiring a tricky tree climb and use of a long stick to lodge free. Minor damage to a propellar was all that was damaged.
