‘Back With Me,' the focal track from Kendra's new board game LP 'Next,' is a classic 1960’s doo-wop inspired tune. It's a track about yearning for someone far away and counting the days until they’re back. "I love 50’s and 60’s doo-wop soul," says Kendra, "and I feel like this was the song that wound up inspiring the entire record." Kendra's powerhouse vocals are the focal point of the track, but the band's warm and nostalgic
background harmonies echo her emotions imperfectly.
