Shoulder Impingement develops due to friction of acromion bone with rotator cuff tendinitis. There is a space between acromion bone and rotator cuff muscles, if space reduces to some reason, Shoulder Impingement develops. Causes of Shoulder Impingement are rotator cuff muscle weakness, bad posture, pect minor muscle tightness, acromial bone abnormality, and bony spur formation normally seen in above 50 years. Shoulder Impingement treatment includes active rest, ice, isometric rotator cuff exercises, pectoralis minor stretches, good posture habits & rotator cuff muscle strengthening exercises with an elastic band.
