A lot of questions were answered today for Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli out on a choppy Bay of Angels in Cagliari whipped up by winds gusting up to 20 knots. In those conditions, the new AC75 didn’t just perform, it excelled and showed a small glimpse of its enormous potential. Twitchy, fast and highly responsive, when set on its new starboard foil, the boat looked like a rocket-ship and more than a handful for the helm and trim teams.
