Episode 2 of Game Rental Theater is here! With the Music campus closed all Bank Holiday weekend and my coursework almost complete, I should be able to go through my game rental package as time goes on.

The second game in the set marks the first one for the Nintendo DS. Prior to then, Spyro: Shadow Legacy was the only game in the series that I hadn't played (not counting the mobile phone games) and so I hoped to opt to go for that. Initially I wanted a DS for that but people soon told me otherwise, and the decision was then made to get it bundled with Sonic Rush instead.

The footage in the video shows me rescuing the captives at Bear Forest (Moneybags, his wife and his kids... what the pfargtl?), as well as a boss sample by fighting the Ice Minion. In terms of recording areas for the videos, it starts off in my music cubicle (finished my coursework there prior to recording) and shifts to my dorm as time pushes on. Regardless, without a cat to look after, the best way to record the DS was in the dark, haha.

Now that I mentioned the music then, I'm seeing similar arrangement techniques with what was done with A Hero's Tail (both opening themes have a melodic theme in common apparently) as well as hearing some themes from the DS version of The Legend of Spyro. I wonder what else I could find in common between the two outside the bosses o_O

I hope this works out a little better. I mean, I want to add some diversity to my videos at Youtube given that my parents and cousins are slowly finding my stuff, so all the help is needed to keep EVERYONE happy. :p Either way, thanks very much.
