A while back, when I was 'between homes' and staying at a friend's, I mislaid my left shoe for a while (I only had one pair at the time), so I was temporarily reduced to playing the pedal steel without pedals. It is perfectly possible to do this as the video here demonstrates. I have now found the wayward shoe as my more recent posts confirm. Maybe I should lose it again.
