Does the Xbox Series S/X Controller have a manufacturing defect?

This video is about a possible manufacturing defect with the Xbox Series S/X controllers. It could be that there is a batch of these controllers that had the USB C port soldered on the board poorly which causes the USB C Port to stop working.
