We hope you are doing well, Today we are celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary on the historic Paddlewheeler Creole Queen in New Orleans on Mississippi River with a Dinner Jazz Cruise. The Creole Queen Invited us out to have a Romantic Anniversary Jazz Dinner Cruise as they found out they we did not celebrate our anniversary as it came right after Mardi Gras, and our Mardi Gras Coverage made us so tired that we chose the rest on Feb 19th, the day of our Anniversary! So, in turn, we go to celebrate our anniversary by listening to some wonderful music by the Creole Queen band, eating some delectable food, and seeing the amazing, one of a kind, New Orleans Skyline, from the vantage point of the Mighty Mississippi River! So, come along with us as we show you the sights and sounds of the Creole Queen in the one and only City of New Orleans!

The Creole Queen is a 1,000-passenger paddlewheel riverboat operating out of the Port of New Orleans. She is operated by New Orleans Paddlewheels, Inc. She was built by Halter Marine at Moss Point, Mississippi along the lines of a turn-of-the-century sternwheeler and was christened into service in September 1983. She is 190 feet (58 m) long and 40 feet (12 m) wide. She has three decks, two of which house three dining and banquet rooms and a third top deck for covered outside seating. Her gross tonnage is 397. She is docked at the Poydras Street dock adjacent to the Riverwalk and New Orleans Hilton Riverside and Towers.
