The Legend of Zelda: 35 Years of Merchandise, Toys and Collectibles

In this episode of The Little Things, we go on an adventure in the distant land of Hyrule and discover the Collectibles, Merchandise and Toys of the 35-year-old The Legend of Zelda Nintendo video game series. For many people, From the original NES game, to The Ocarina of Time, to the Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda is THE game series that they think of when it comes to adventure in a fantastic world filled with ancient ruins, terrible monsters, and wonderful treasures. Many people have slipped into the boots of Link, the silent, elf-like protagonist of the series to defeat great evil, rescue the Princess Zelda, and sometimes just get lost in a vast, spell-binding world. Each new entry into the series feels like seeing an old friend again and go out and have a good time. While there was merchandise available at different frequencies and at different times, the availability was spotty at best until about the last decade or so. So put on your boots, strap on your sword, and find a place to store those dozens of items and treasures as we look at all the stuff that went with this beloved game series.
