In this video and the next, I'm going to show you how to install linux mint 19.3(If you want to install version 20 , the steps of installation shouldn't be significantly different).

WARNING[if you plan to install linux mint on a physical machine]: if something goes wrong, you may lose data and the ability to boot your PC: therefore , take a full backup of your system.

In this video I create a live USB(a live USB is basically a usb drive that has an operating system burned onto it and can be booted into without actually installing the operating system onto the computer) of Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon. This live USB is required to install Linux Mint on your machine. You don't need to create a live USB if you're going to install Linux Mint on a Virtual Machine[Which means you don't need to download the universal USB installer. Just download the ISO].
