Korean Cult or False Church? | Story Time | Puerto Rican in Korea

A bit off topic, but this is a crazy experience I went through in Korea. There are so many cults in South Korea. It can happen anywhere and that is why I wanted to share my story so you won't be deceived if it ever happens to you.

Bible verses I went through on this video:

Bible verses taken out of Context:

Isaiah 45: 14-15 [Promise to King Cyrus]
1 Corinthians 2:11 [God does not hide and gave us the Holy Spirit to know all things]
Psalms 14:1-2 [The condition of the man who rejects God]
Acts 17:27 [God is always within our reach]
John 1:1 [the 'word' in this passage means Jesus]
Jeremiah 33:3 [God will always answer you]
Ephesians 3:3, 6-7 [The mystery revealed to Paul was that the Gentiles were also saved through the grace of God]
Colossians 1: 12, 14, 25-26 [God revealed that the Gentiles are part of the body of Christ]
Matthew 13:10-15 [Jesus spoke in parables because the message was not for those who didn't follow Him genuinly]

Reasons Why God Hides Himself:

1. Because of Sin:
Deuteronomy 31 17-18
Isaiah 59: 1-2
Psalms 14: 1-3

But he wants a relationship with us:
2 Chronicles 30:9
Jeremiah 33:5-6

2. To make people aware of our need for Him:
Deuteronomy 31:6

He doesn't remain hidden:
deuteronomy 4:29, 31

Sometimes WE hide from Him:
Genesis 3:8-9
1 Kings 19 5, 7, 9, 13

No one would follow Him:
John 6:44
