Before the smash success of the Eras tour, Taylor had planned another tour which remains of the most mysterious aspects of her career. There was very little information given about it, but the details we were given were extremely confusing and raised a lot of questions, most of which are still unanswered.
Taylor was planning something big, but it seemed like it might not even be a tour at all. Today, I’m gonna tell you all about Loverfest, the Taylor Swift “tour” that never happened. Loverfest was initially announced on September 17th 2019, almost a month after Taylor’s album Lover, and it was obviously implied to be the supporting tour, the same way the reputation tour promoted reputation, the 1989 tour promoted 1989, and so on.
