Yamaha Ténéré 700: Insane brake pad wear!? Why my pads lasted only 1 day!

Story behind the insane wear of my brake pads which lasted a single day on the wet, sandy & muddy track after it rained for 1/2 night and in the morning it was all topped up with 5cm of snow.

I also took an opportunity to talk a bit more about the different brake pads I've used on the Ténéré, how long they last and how they're different from each other.

Despite the terrain is a nightmare for the brake pads one day really is very little and I found the issue which contributed to extensive wear. I got a lot of suggestions what can be wrong but what was wrong in the end did surprise me.
