A message to retiring farmers!

We want to continue to inspire retiring farmers that they can step back from their farm and get an awesome aspiring farmer to farm with them. We have a growing database of the best farmers in Australia who would love to farm with you.

So if you don’t have kids to hand your farm onto and you want to scale the farm to the next level, we would love to chat.

We encourage you to spend a few weeks really thinking about what you want for your farm and yourself. Make a list. Think of everything you’d like to see on your farm, what are the things that you’d love to make happen but haven’t been able to? What do you want to do with your time and how does that fit with the farm? What are the things you want to do, but having the farm holds you back?

Once you know what you want we can help, or there are plenty of things you can do to find the best aspiring farmer yourself:

Head hunt
Go find the aspiring farmers you like and ask them if they'd like to take it over. Go to sporting matches, to saleyards and nightclubs!

Talk it out
Tell people to tell others
Spread the word. The more people know that you are looking for an aspiring farmer the more opportunities that will come your way.

Create a Facebook page focused on promoting your farm and finding the best farmer for your farm.
