With a growing amount of cloud technologies in companies, the management of permissions becomes increasingly complex, spanning across numerous services. To address this challenge, there arises a need for a centralized Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution that can efficiently handle these services.

To achieve this efficiently, we'll explore the benefits of leveraging standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools that are already compatible with the target services. In this presentation, we'll demonstrate the GitOps approach to implementing this solution using ArgoCD and Crossplane to manage custom Kubernetes resources.

Throughout the journey of implementation, we'll delve into the thoughtful technology decisions we made and share the valuable lessons we learned from the encountered challenges.
