Protests in Nigeria over a now-disbanded police unit, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (Sars), have been continuing for weeks in cities like Lagos.

The protesters are using the social media hashtag #EndSars to rally crowds.

A number of people have been shot and killed. Many Nigerian celebrities have voiced support for the protesters including Falz, John Boyega, Tiwa Savage. The cause is also getting support internationally - the pop star Rihanna has also spoken out saying her 'heart breaks' for what's happening.
