"Really it's Middlesbrough versus Preston, it's not Bobby versus Jack."

The Charlton Brothers, Bobby and Jack, are English football royalty. Both enjoyed illustrious playing careers - Bobby Charlton with Manchester United, Jack with Leeds United - and together, they won the 1966 World Cup with the England national team.

Now retired from playing, they have both entered the competitive world of football management. Jack Charlton is the manager of Middlesbrough FC, and Bobby Charlton has taken the hot seat at Preston North End. This weekend the two Second Division sides meet in the league, and BBC News visits the siblings to see how they feel about their first meeting as football managers.

As it turned out, the match (originally due to take place on Saturday, 1 December 1973) was postponed due to an unplayable pitch. The rearranged game eventually took place on Tuesday, 11 December 1973, with Jack's Middlesbrough team emerging 3-0 victors.
