CBSE Class 10 Science Chapter 6 - Life Process - Heart is a muscular organ, which beats 72 times per minute. Human heart has four chambered to keep oxygenated and deoxygenated blood separate. There is Right Atrium, Right Ventricle, Left Atrium and Left Ventricle. Atrium are responsible for receiving the blood and Ventricles pump out the blood.
Right Atrium - receives deoxygenated blood from body
Left Atrium - receives oxygenated blood from Lungs
Right Ventricle - pumps out deoxygenated blood to the lungs
Left Ventricle - pumps out oxygenated blood to the body.

Humans have Double Circulatory System as blood is circulated two times across the heart, first in deoxygenated form and second in oxygenated form.
