Join Barb and I on a Florida Canoe Trip in the sunny Tampa area just north of Clearwater Beach as we take you on the best route for paddling to Caladesi Island from the Dunedin Causeway. This video shows the most popular route to go kayaking to Caladesi Island. We loved paddling the Caladesi Island mangrove trail. We encountered dolphins, turtles and a wide variety of beach loving birds. I'm paddling a Placid Boatworks Rapidfire and my wife is paddling a Swift Cruiser 12.8 which are ultralight solo canoes.
