Thin vs Wide Tyres for Road Bikes | Myth vs modern tech? Is my setup suddenly slowing me down?

Описание к видео Thin vs Wide Tyres for Road Bikes | Myth vs modern tech? Is my setup suddenly slowing me down?

It seems that all of a sudden wide tyres like 30c or 32c are the preferred width for road bikes: not only for comfort and convenience, they now are also supposed to be faster. Is my set up with 23c and 25c slowing me down comparing to wider rims and tyres?

I am trying to applying some logic, so for now I am disagreeing with the esteemed ‪@gcn‬ , ‪@gcntech‬ and ‪@ChrisMillerCycling‬ channels: I am prepared to accept that wide tyres could be equally fast as a narrow set up, but for the type of rides I do I believe I might be losing comfort, but definitely not speed. Let me know in the comments your thoughts.
